Overall championship\nbattles, regional points and individual track points will be tabulated for both\ndivisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The \u201920 American\nRacer Cup program is presented by American Racer, Lias Tire Company (Indiana,\nPa.), Sunoco Race Fuels and Insinger Performance (Dushore, Pa.). This is the 11<sup>th<\/sup>\nconsecutive season for the program, rewarding racers for participation at their\nhome tracks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In New York\nState, Accord Speedway, Afton Motorsports Park, Five Mile Point Speedway, Fonda\nSpeedway, Outlaw Speedway, Skyline Raceway and Woodhull Raceway will fly the\nAmerican Racer banner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Andrew\nHarpell returns to the helm of Five Mile Point Speedway for the historic\nquarter-mile oval\u2019s 70<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary season. Like Five Mile Point, a\nfamiliar name is promoting Skyline Raceway for the \u201920 campaign: Frank Payne is\nback with the Blodgett Mills, N.Y., track switching to Sunday racing headlined by\nCrate 602 Sportsman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Terry and\nNikki Brewer have taken ownership of Woodhull Raceway for the \u201920 season with\npromoters Ted and Brandi White staying on to assist this season at the\nhigh-banked, paperclip oval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Keystone\nState of Pennsylvania sees a trio of American Racer Cup tracks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Big Diamond\nSpeedway, Grandview Speedway and Penn Can Speedway have signed on for the \u201920 season.\nBig Diamond promoter Jake Smulley, who resurfaced the Coal Region facility last\nyear, has added the Crate 602 Sportsman division this season featuring a trio\nof open wheel classes in the Cup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gary Folk has\ntaken over as the promoter at Penn Can Speedway \u2013 his hometown track \u2013 and hopes\nto breathe new life into the Friday venue on the Pennsylvania side of the NY-PA\nborder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The two dirt\ntracks in New Jersey \u2013 Bridgeport Motorsports Park and New Egypt Speedway \u2013\nremain American Racer red. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Big changes\nare on tap for Bridgeport Motorsports Park under new facility owner Doug Rose.\nGone is the old five-eighths-mile layout in favor of a high-banked, shorter\noval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Charlie\nCathell\u2019s Delaware International Speedway anchors the First State\nrepresentation in the Cup for the Modifieds and Crate 602 Sportsman.\nNeighboring Georgetown Speedway \u2013 while hosting a special-events schedule \u2013\nwill again utilize American Racer tires for its Sunoco Championship Series.\nWhile the schedule does not meet the minimum 10-race criteria required for the\nCup, points will be tabulated for the Modifieds and Crate 602 Sportsman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>American\nRacer Cup points will begin tabulation on Friday, April 10 and will run through\nMonday, September 7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2020 American\nRacer Cup registration is open now. Drivers must registered by May 1 to be\neligible for awards and payouts.
