MILLSBORO,\nDE \u2013 <\/strong>For the 12th<\/sup>\nconsecutive season, the American Racer Cup presented by Sunoco Race Fuels will\nbe winning with weekly racers in 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thirteen facilities\nrepresenting four states \u2013 New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware \u2013\ncomprise the \u201921 American Racer Cup, which will reward Modified and Sportsman\ncompetitors with $51,450 in cash point funds plus hundreds of tire certificate\ngiveaways. Drivers cash in for competing at their home American Racer Cup\ntracks on a weekly basis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The program\nis presented by American Racer Tires and distributor Lias Tire of Indiana, Pa.,\nand Sunoco Race Fuels and distributor Insinger Performance of Dushore, Pa. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stewart\nFriesen, representing N.Y.\u2019s Fonda Speedway (Modified) and Brian Hirthler,\ncompeting at Grandview Speedway in Bechtelsville, Pa., (Sportsman) are the defending\nAmerican Racer Cup overall champions, both for the first time in their careers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first American Racer Cup \u2018pre-season\u2019 giveaway took place in\nJanuary on Facebook LIVE. Four free American Racer tires were distributed via\nrandom draw to Danny Creeden and Bobby Watkins (Modified) and Ken Eckert Jr.\nand Danielle Smith (Sportsman).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The next giveaway \u2013 for six total tires (three Modified and three\nSportsman) \u2013 will take place on March 13 during the drivers\u2019 meeting for the\nMelvin L. Joseph Memorial Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series\n(STSS) Fueled By Sunoco opener at Del.\u2019s Georgetown Speedway.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

All registered drivers as of March 13 will be entered into the\ndrawing shown live on Facebook. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Points begin tabulating for the \u201921 Cup on Saturday, April 16\nand continue through Labor Day (Monday, September 6).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
